Exchanging students for over 50 years
IAESTE Portugal has the same organisation as the rest of the International IAESTE. There is a National Secretariat which centralises the whole process on a national and international level and the Local Committees which are spread throughout the country.
The National Secretariat of IAESTE Portugal is located at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) since 1965, and it operates as well as a Local Committee. The activities of IAESTE Portugal are also supported by APIET (Associação para a Permuta Internacional de Estagiários Técnicos), a non-profit association.
