The highlight of the internship was certainly all the support I received from the reception team and my co-workers, since the first day everyone was available to help me in my integration. The reception team is unique and the fact that the members have different nationalities helped a lot to my cultural enrichment. The working environment at the architecture office was excellent and there are no negative things to be said about them.
This internship helped not only to my professional development and growth as an architect, but also personal. The projects were challenging and exciting, I learned much more than I was expecting and I was given autonomy to make some important decisions which benefited a lot my learning.
It was a unique opportunity, a rewarding and great experience, everything I learned with the performance of my duties I will take with me for the rest of my life. This experience would not have been at all possible without IAESTE.
In this sense, on a personal level, I would like to thank to the team of IAESTE Portugal for making this life experience possible, and especially to the reception team and the other trainees in Berlin, who have always shown an attitude of support in every situation and with whom I created great friendships.
