IAESTE IS AWESOME <3 !!

Half a year ago I went to Kraków on my first ever IAESTE internship to work for ASSECO. I did some office work and programming, which may sound simple and nothing out of the ordinary, right? Well, no, I loved it! Not only have I acquired experience in 3 different programming languages, but also met and worked alongside awesome polish people who were always there to help when I needed and give me some tips, to invite me to lunch every day and share their stories and their country’s history as well, things I should visit and others I definitely should not miss during my stay! And the coffee breaks were just lovely… Free coffee and chocolates, what more can I say?

What about the country itself, Poland, you may ask. To be honest, I didn’t know much about the country, its history, food and folk, but now it’s a place I’ll never forget. Regarding its history, I recommend taking the free walking tours in every place you may visit, you’ll learn a lot! The cities are so pretty, too! About its food… I’m still craving those pierogis and zapiekanki… And the soups, so many delicious soups! Aah, the Good Lood ice cream, though, that’s definitely a must!

Thank you so freakin’ much, IAESTE people, you are so welcoming and friendly and funny, always! I’m talking about both interns and local committee members, it was so nice to meet you all.

I also loved the fact that they organized activities and trips and made themselves available for us interns when possible. I made so many memories and friends that I’ll treasure for life and I can’t wait to go back to Poland and see them again! Over some Soplicas, of course hehehe!

I just have one more thing to add… I’m definitely applying for an IAESTE internship again!
